Conestoga's Interior Design degree program recognized by international accreditation body

The Bachelor of Interior Design degree program at Conestoga College has been awarded a six-year accreditation from the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA). The accreditation affirms that the program meets CIDA’s professional standards for post-secondary interior design education and will permit graduates of Conestoga’s program to pursue registration as interior designers with the profession’s provincial regulator.

Community partners, supporters and friends joined representatives from Conestoga College, Schlegel Villages and the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging (RIA) on Thursday, April 13 for the official launch of a new facility that will enhance the quality of life and care for seniors and their families through innovation in education, workforce development and care services. 

Federal and provincial governments invest in Conestoga expansion

Elected representatives from the federal, provincial, regional and municipal governments joined members of the Conestoga community at the college’s North campus in Waterloo on Monday, December 19 for the announcement of a joint federal-provincial government investment of $15.8 million to support a major expansion project for the campus.
