2009 Science and Technology Showcase

Instructions for Cracker Barrel Presenters

Presenters chosen to deliver a 5 minute Cracker Barrel presentation will be required to present their project during the Showcase.

Presentation templates are available electronically from Tina Perricone or Ken Doyle

Cracker Barrel presenters will be given 5 minutes for their presentation followed by a 3 minute question/answer period. Presenters will have an opportunity to practice their presentation the evening before, or the morning of, the Showcase.

Please note that, due to time-restrictions and to ensure a well-structure conference, all presentations will be capped at the 5 minute mark.

Instructions for Poster Presenters

Poster presentations will be setup in the Poster Display Area and will be grouped by sector of research.

Over the course of the Showcase, time will be available for guests to browse the posters and speak to presenters.

Digital hardware (laptop, computer monitor, power bar, etc.) can be made available for posters that require it. Please advise Tina in advance so she can make appropriate arrangements.

Poster presentations will be judged by Polytechnics Canada member Presidents in attendance and awards will be given to first, second, and third place posters.
