Sask Polytech can help innovate and develop prototypes for industry partners
Sask Polytech has the in-house capacity to conduct experiential development, business validation, and technology adoption and provides the resources industry needs to innovate. Faculty and staff combine their expertise with a wide spectrum of leading-edge technology such as 3D printers, water laser-jet cutters, and computer numerical control (CNC) machines to assist research partners with the capital-intensive components of the product development process.

Intercultural Services provides support and guidance to newcomers (permanent resident) or international students, as they work to meet their educational and career goal sat Sask Polytech.
Support for students include:
- Transitioning into Canadian culture and the Canadian academic environment
- Assessing student need and making referrals
- Providing culturally responsive counselling support
- Ensuring international and newcomer student perspectives are represented throughout the institution
- Facilitating student success workshops
- Promoting opportunities for student engagement, leadership, and volunteerism
Sask Polytech offers English language training and testing services to both newcomers and to individuals who want to improve in English, including Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC), and International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
International Educational Partnerships
Sask Polytech has been designing, delivering and managing international development projects for more than 30 years. It has extensive project development and management experience in Africa, the Middle East, Caribbean, Central America, Asia and Eastern Europe.
Sask Polytech’s experience includes working with Global Affairs Canada on bilateral and partnership projects, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank technical assistance and various trust fund programs.
Sask Polytech’s approach to knowledge transfer has renewed programming, upgraded curriculum in business, mining, nursing, telecommunications, adult education and literacy, agriculture and dental therapy. Through the introduction of employer-driven program development, Sask Polytech has guided schools around the world with curriculum development and building partnerships between the training institutions and industry. Sask Polytech has introduced new approaches to teaching, focusing on experiential learning versus more formal lecturing approaches.
