George Brown College has a range of innovative applied and basic research projects—some of which have been internally seed funded and many of which involved funding partners from other institutions and from industry. These projects contribute to our professors’ engagement in their fields of expertise and to what and how our students learn, all while responding to industrial challenges or directly benefiting the greater community.
Our research spans many disciplines, including nursing, prosthetics and orthotics, early childhood education, microelectronics, mechanical engineering and culinary science and design.
