Newcomer integration
The English Language Foundations (ELF) program provides language upgrading for learners whose first language is not English. A skills-based curriculum encourages development in all language areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Computer technology is incorporated into the program. The program has six start dates per year (8-week terms). Full and part-time studies are offered. Most ELF students are preparing for admission into SAIT career programs.
