Our members collectively offer Canadian post-secondary students almost 1,500 programs.

Degrees and Credentials

Polytechnics Canada members collectively offer Canadian post-secondary students 55 Bachelor’s degrees, 22 joint degrees with universities, and over 2,400 Certificate and Diploma programs.  The association serves over a half million Canadians annually with full- and part-time apprenticeship programs, tailored corporate training, certification, diploma and degree programs that enhance their professional skills.

Bachelor’s Degrees

A  Polytechnic Bachelor's degree provides the unique advantage of practical, hands-on work experience coupled with a specialized, theoretical education.  Today employers seek graduates who are job-ready and have acquired some experience. Polytechnic applied degrees enable learners to be trained with a mix of in-class theory and on the job training.
